When you need this
You're at an event and need to check who's registered, add a late entry, update a participant's chip number, or assign someone to a class — all from your phone or tablet. The Registrations page gives you full access to the participant list without needing the desktop client.
Opening the registrations page
From the event list, tap the event you want to manage. A menu appears with the available modes. Tap Registrations to open the registrations view.
The page shows all registered participants grouped by class. Each row displays the participant's name, club, chip number, and start time (if assigned). The class headers show how many participants are in each class.
Searching for a participant
You need to find a specific person quickly — maybe they're at the start asking about their chip number, or you need to check if someone is registered.
Type in the search bar at the top. The search filters across name, club, chip number, and bib number. Multiple words narrow the results further (all terms must match). The list updates as you type.
Editing a registration
A participant arrives and tells you their chip number has changed, or they want to switch classes. Tap their row in the list to open the edit form.
The form shows all participant details:
- Name (with a privacy toggle to hide the name in public results)
- Club
- Chip number (supports two chips separated by comma, with a rental chip toggle)
- Bib number
- Licence number
- Nationality
- Class
- Start time
- Email and phone number
- Additional information, birth year
- Payment details (state, price, reference)
Make your changes and tap Save. The update syncs to the cloud immediately.
Creating a new registration
Someone shows up at the event without a prior registration. Tap the + button (bottom-right corner) to create a new participant.
A blank form opens. Fill in at least the name, then save. The new registration appears in the list under the assigned class (or "No class" if none was selected).
Deleting a registration
Open a registration by tapping it, scroll to the bottom, and tap the red Delete button. A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to permanently remove the participant.
For multistage events, deleting removes the parent registration and all stage-specific entries.
Multistage events
When you open registrations for a stage in a multistage event, the header shows the stage name with a switcher to jump between stages (same as in Reader Mode).
When you tap a participant to edit, the form shows:
- Parent details at the top — name, club, chip, bib, nationality (shared across all stages)
- Per-stage sections below — collapsible accordions for each stage showing class, course, start time, status (Registered / Not competing), and payment
This means you edit the common information once and it applies everywhere. Stage-specific assignments (which class they run in each stage, their start time per stage) are managed independently.
Participants marked as "Not competing" for a stage appear dimmed in that stage's list but remain tappable so you can change their status.
Relay events
For relay events, the list shows teams as primary items with their leg members listed below each team.
When you edit a relay team, the form shows:
- Team details — team name, club, bib number, nationality, class
- Leg members section — each member in a collapsible accordion with name, chip, leg number, and sub-leg. You can add new members with the + button or remove existing ones.
Using the chip reader
If you have a USB chip reader connected, the registrations page subscribes to chip reads automatically. When a chip is read:
- If a matching registration is found, it opens for editing
- If no match is found, a new registration form opens with the chip number pre-filled
- If you're already editing someone and a different chip is read, it switches to the matching registration
This is useful for quickly assigning chips to participants at the start area.
Tablet landscape mode
On tablets in landscape orientation, the page shows a split view: the registrations list on the left and the edit form on the right. You can browse the list and edit participants side by side without switching between views.
